April Mayhew

 

April has been climbing and mountaineering in the Sierra since 2003. She is also a veteran of expeditions to South America and Africa. She has two successful summits of Aconcagua in addition to climbs on Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya in East Africa. Her rock climbing experience has taken her to areas across the globe as well as alpine routes here in California and big walls in Yosemite. April is an experienced traveler with extended trips to Argentina, Spain, Asia, Mexico, and Canada. April lives in Bishop, where she enjoys rock climbing, trail running, and cooking. She is known for her enthusiasm and mountain knowledge and has an excellent way with people.
