It is the only place in the world where one can pass through five different temperate zones in as many days. From jungles to the alpine zone the scenery is spectacular making a climb to the summit a non technical trek like no other. Mt. Kenya is the second highest mountain in Africa. The summit is the crater rim of a volcano that is thought to have been higher than Mt. Everest. It towers above remote jungles and is seldom climbed.
