Come learn the thrill of ice climbing on the frozen waterfalls in Lee Vining Canyon and June Lake! Whether it’s your first exposure to the vertical realm or you’re a seasoned veteran looking to expand your skill set our expert staff is ready to show you this beautiful and exhilarating sport!

Cost

For first time through advanced levels. Book as many days as you like!
WEEKEND ICE CLIMBING RATES
$520 per day with 1:1 guide/guest ratio
$320 per person per day with two people
$200 per person per day with three or more people

WEEKDAY ICE CLIMBING RATES
$420 per day with 1:1 guide/guest ratio
$250 per person per day with two people
$180 per person per day with three or more people

Private guiding also available

Prices include Professional Guides, Permits, All group equipment (ropes, ice tools, ice screws and other protection).

Dates

Any date between November 30 and March 20.
After March 20 ice climbing is dependent on conditions. Some years we can climb well into April. Get in touch if you’re interested in ice climbing after March 20.

*Due to the increased popularity on weekends and the resulting larger crowds we recommend booking midweek for those who have the flexibility to do so.

We strongly recommend protecting the cost of your trip and other non-refundable travel expenses with travel insurance. Global Rescue’s Signature Travel Insurance allows you to insure all of your expenses. While a Signature Travel Insurance policy can be purchased at any time, purchasing a policy within 20 days of making your initial trip deposit gives you the widest range of policy options.

Safety is our top priority, but unforeseen emergencies can occur. A Global Rescue membership will provide you with 24 hour advisory services, field rescue (evacuation from your point of injury/illness to the nearest appropriate medical facility), and also evacuation to your home hospital of choice for continuing care all at no cost to you. Memberships start at just $119.
