Trevor Anthes is a Sierra Nevada enthusiast, where he has climbed, hiked and skied for over half his life. He has a close familiarity that comes from decades of playing, working, and living among these mountains. From alpine rock routes in the Palisades to ice climbs in Tuolumne and Yosemite, you will find him just as comfortable hiking the JMT in summer as doing a trans-sierra tour on skis. Trevor says he enjoys classic climbs equally with first ascents, “Established classic routes are often more fun because you’re usually not as scared or constantly concerned about the unknown.”
Trevor is as willing to take a casual ski tour as to engage in a steep descent, or scramble up an easy ridge as to attempt a technical rock climb. If you have climbed or skied with him you’ve seen his camera strapped to his chest capturing further work that you can view at his website: www.WildIncognito.com

““This was a wonderful trip of a lifetime for me. Trevor was fantastic, and I could not have asked for a better guide. Of course, it was great to have someone who really knows the route down at the 10 ft scale, as well as at the quarter mile scale. He also gave me a lot of “room” to walk at my own pace and handle the difficult spots without overdoing the instructions. Trevor talked me across the ledges and pushed me just the right amount when I was hammered by the altitude below the Notch.” – Client – Stu Pettygrove
